New mexico Vs BYU

November 5th, 2009, BYU against New Mexico played a soccer game. Women’s BYU won the game one to zero.
During this game a woman of New Mexico played the game as she was in a fight against all the players of BYU.in the video of the game shows Elisabeth Lambert committing a series of excessively hard plays. She was kicking, tackles, a forearm shiver to the back, hit her elbow to the ribs and take down BYU forward Kassidy Shumway to the ground by her hair.
Lambert for doing all that, almost at the end of the game at the 76th minute she got a yellow card for tripping. After finishing the game she got suspended indefinitely for rough plays and take down a player to the ground by her hair. And she has to pay amount of money.
Next day she apologized for her actions and she said “deeply and wholeheartedly regretful. “Also she said “I let my emotions get the best of me in a heated situation. I take full responsibility for my actions and accept any punishment felt necessary,” "This is in no way indicative of my character or the soccer player that I am. I am sorry to my coaches and teammates for any and all damages I have brought upon them”. And she apologized to BYU team and she said "I am especially sorry to BYU and the BYU women's soccer players that were personally affected by my actions. I have the utmost respect for the BYU women's soccer program and its players."
